Dr. Tammy Luk is a comprehensive general dentist with advanced training in dental sleep medicine, digital dentistry, and complex patient care. She earned her undergraduate degree from Carnegie Mellon University and completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where she was recognized for her commitment to community oral health and clinical excellence.
Following dental school, Dr. Luk completed a rigorous Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency with the U.S. Army, gaining extensive experience in restorative dentistry, implant dentistry, surgical extractions, and multidisciplinary treatment planning. She has served as a dentist in the U.S. Army Dental Corps, providing care to diverse and medically complex populations in both conventional and austere clinical environments.
Dr. Luk is a Designated Dentist of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM) and has a special interest in the diagnosis and management of obstructive sleep apnea using oral appliance therapy. She is passionate about improving patients’ overall health, sleep quality, and quality of life through evidence-based, patient-centered dental sleep care.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Luk has lectured internationally on dental field medicine, sharing her expertise in delivering high-quality dental care in challenging environments.
