Ekpa Eyoma, DDS, MPH

Dr. Ekpa Eyoma is a general dentist who’s passionate about making every patient feel comfortable and cared for. Originally from Nigeria and now based in Maryland, she brings a warm, global perspective to dentistry, along with a strong commitment to helping underserved communities.

She earned her dental degree from the University of Maryland in Baltimore and completed a residency at Harlem Hospital in New York. She also holds a Master of Public Health from Columbia University. Dr. Eyoma is board-certified through the American Board of Dental Public Health and completed her specialty training in Dental Public Health at the CDC.

Dr. Eyoma has worked in a variety of settings—from hospitals, FQHC’s and teaching clinics to global public health projects and local private practices. She believes that everyone deserves a healthy smile and enjoys caring for patients of all backgrounds and ages.

When she’s not in the clinic, Dr. Eyoma teaches at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and stays involved in public health initiatives. She enjoys travelling, her DC book club, documentaries, comedy shows, and spending time with her family and friends. She looks forward to getting to know you and helping you feel confident about your oral health!
